Overview

Star Home London delivers bespoke refurbishment across the city. Their finished work sits in the luxury bracket; the way trades are usually presented online does not.

The challenge

The default in the sector is a brochure site — a services list, a gallery, a phone number. For a studio charging premium rates, that pricing signal works against them before a client ever sees the craftsmanship.

How we approached it.

01

Set an editorial language

Large-scale photography carrying the pages, with type and spacing borrowed from interiors publishing rather than from contractor websites.

02

Organised the archive by typology

Projects grouped by the kind of work they are, so a prospective client can find the job that resembles theirs instead of scrolling a single feed.

03

Kept one route to a quote

A single quote-driven enquiry path running through the site — for a considered, high-value purchase, more calls to action means fewer decisions made.

04

Built it for image speed

Astro with Tailwind, so a photography-led site still paints fast — the images are the argument, and they have to arrive before the visitor leaves.
