Overview
PataPura is a Warsaw pet shop selling food, treats, accessories, toys and pharmacy products for dogs, cats and smaller animals — carrying brands like Royal Canin, Acana and Brit. They needed a real online store, not a catalogue page: browsing by animal, a working basket, and the payment methods Polish shoppers actually expect.
The challenge
Owners shop for a specific animal, not a product category — so the store had to be navigable by pet before anything else. It also had to clear the bar every Polish shopper measures a store against: BLIK at checkout, InPost delivery, a visible free-delivery threshold and a returns policy you can find without hunting.
How we approached it.
Built the storefront around the animal
Navigation splits by Psy, Koty, Inne zwierzęta and Apteka, with a shop-by-animal row and pastel category tiles underneath — an owner lands and finds their pet in one click.
Wired up Polish-market checkout
BLIK, Visa/Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Przelewy24, with InPost shipping, free delivery over 150 zł and a 30-day returns policy stated up front.
Added the conversion layer
A 10% welcome code (WITAJ10) in the announcement bar, a countdown offer band, bestseller carousel, trust badges, wishlist and search — the things that turn a browse into a basket.
Kept it stocked with content
Blog, Instagram feed and a newsletter block, so the store has something new to show returning customers between orders.
